Satsang, Sankalpa And The Future Of Ayurveda With Claudia Welch
Hello Readers,
My recent conversation with Claudia Welch was quite a beautiful reminder of how important it is to make time to connect with like-minded people and share individual perspectives. In our recent interaction that started with our individual understanding of the past and the future of Ayurveda, we also ended up exploring various topics like the importance of Satsanga, the power of Sankalpa and the dying arts of our culture, while discussing how to retain these pockets of wisdom for the future generations.
Here are some beautiful insights that stood out for us
- Choose your company intentionally. The power of Satsanga can determine the future of our lives. The truth and the people we associate ourselves with, will influence who we become.
- While you find yourself in a situation, where you cannot distance yourself from a toxic situation, remember to literally breathe deeply and stay grounded in your truth to protect yourself.
- More and more people are discovering the power of natural healing methodologies, and adopting them more than ever now. While this is beautiful, we must also be cognizant of not falling in the trap of vilifying allopathy or looking down on people who are not ready to receive the gift of natural healing yet.
- Allopathy is humanity’s answer to how to stay alive, and Ayurveda is humanity’s answer to how to live well. Where you are, who you are will also determine what you reach out to.
- As a holistic healing practitioner, it is our responsibility to understand where a patient is coming from and meet them there.
- Sankalpa, is one of the most underrated practices that has a profound effect on helping you achieve your goals. The basic understanding of this practice includes setting a clear intention on what you want.
- The true art of harnessing the power of Sankalpa lies in understanding the difference between holding on to a desire adamantly or surrendering to the universe and life’s will while staying on your path and doing everything you can to achieve your goal.
